BEQUEST
You designate Changing the Mindset Inc. as the beneficiary of your assets in your will or trust. A gift to Changing the Mindset through your will or living trust is a powerful statement of your support for our mission. Below you will find sample language that you can share with your Attorney or Estate Planner. Simply include this language in your estate document and you can be assured that you played a major role in helping Changing the Mindset provide mental health and wellness support to working professionals, entrepreneurs, and youth who are facing bullying, personal challenges, or adversities.
“I bequeath to Changing the Mindset, EIN # 84-2664901, Attn: Dr. Shmeka Gibson info@changingthemindset.org (the sum of $_____) [OR]____% of the residue of my estate/trust), to be used for its general purposes.”
QUALIFIED IRA CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION
Congress has enacted a permanent IRA charitable rollover, also commonly referred to as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). As a result, you can make an IRA rollover gift to Changing the Mindset Inc. this year and in future years.
Individuals aged 70.5 and older can distribute up to $100,000 each year from their IRAs to charities without counting the distribution as income.
LIFE INSURANCE
You can designate Changing the Mindset Inc. as the beneficiary of your life insurance premium.
GIFT ANNUITY AND CHARITABLE TRUSTS
Working with a trusted financial advisor, you can designate Changing the Mindset Inc. as the beneficiary of your charitable gift annuity and charitable trust.

Changing the Mindset is dedicated to providing mental health and wellness support to working professionals, entrepreneurs, and youth who are facing bullying, personal challenges, or adversities. We are always accepting donations (cars, property, materials, and items) and volunteers to support our many programs.

Changing the Mindset, offers a service to participants that are interested in volunteering or completing an internship in their field of education or career choice. Changing the Mindset will complete a career assessment to determine your options and assist with placement. The intern and volunteer opportunities are unpaid and requires a commitment of 3 or more months.
